Pondok Cocoa Retreat Centre is nestled in the village of Kedewatan, a short drive north of central Ubud and close to the sacred Ayung River. Considered the cultural heart of Bali, it is the Island’s centre for fine arts, dance and music.

Who is this retreat for? – For people ready to take their health and wellness to the next level. The retreat is for those who are open to experience a range of different health and movement modalities that will challenge you mentally and physically.
Who is it not for? – Those looking for intense, ego driven fitness. Although some aspects of the retreat may be challenging, the retreat is also about finding balance and learning to look after your health in different ways. This week will not be just about the physical. It will be more on the generation and creation of movement and the awareness of mind and body. The retreat will touch on multiple different areas of heath in an holistic approach to overall health and wellbeing.
What challenges do we cover in the retreat? – In this retreat, we will address the very common challenges we are faced with the health, wellness and fitness industry. These include, education around nutrition and tackling the common myths. Learning about different modalities of movement such as yoga, dance, animal movements, acro yoga, general fitness movements and nature walks. We will also explore some common mental blocks and fears that the normal day to day person may face such as, expressing empathy, public speaking, overcoming fears and sitting with yourself in a meditative like practice.
What results do people get in the retreat? – This retreat aims to get you out of your comfort zone. It will provide a very supportive and safe manner to assist you in exploring yourself in the areas of physical, social, emotional, intellectual, mental and spiritual health. You will leave feeling transformed, well-nourished, motivated and equipped with the skills to move forwards in taking life head on. Blocks that were once stopping you from moving forward in certain areas may disappear as your newly found confidence in yourself brings you to new heights in your relationships, career, physical health, mental and intellectual clarity. Delivered personally by Amy Hazel and Jake Holness, our intention for this retreat is to leave you inspired, empowered and physically and mentally stronger!
What modalities will I be involved in? – Sessions will be held in the forms of physical exercise, group activities, group excursions, conversations and discussions.
What are the dates and times? Arrival between 12pm – 3pm – Monday 9th September 2019 Finished by 2:30pm Sunday 15th September 2019.
What is the location? – The retreat is held at a beautiful private villa called Pondok Cocoa Retreat. It is approx. 2 hours from the airport by taxi so please ensure enough time to land and arrive on time. Specific address will be given closer to the date.
Approx. how many people? – There will be approximately 15-18 people on this retreat, keeping it very close and intimate.
Is there any support after? – Upon being accepted into this retreat, a Facebook group will be established in which you can connect with myself and one another before and after the retreat.
Retreat Investment? – $2,200 AUD per individual ($1,950 AUD early bird if paid before March 9th 2019). *price does not include flights.
